Description

The Terrier MLX is a highly adaptable, mission‑ready armored vehicle engineered for  forces that demand exceptional mobility without compromising protection. Certified to  CEN Level B6 ballistic standards, the Terrier MLX delivers reliable survivability,  maneuverability, and operational flexibility across diverse mission environments, from  urban patrols to remote and rugged terrain operations. 

Designed as a multi‑role tactical platform, the Terrier MLX is widely suited for military  patrol operations, law enforcement missions, border security, and humanitarian  support roles. With seating for up to 8 personnel and practical interior storage capacity,  the platform strikes an optimal balance between crew comfort, payload capability, and  operational efficiency, enabling teams to remain effective and agile in the field. 

Built on a sturdy chassis with an optimized drivetrain, the Terrier MLX transitions  seamlessly between urban streets, rough terrain, and remote operational areas. Its  terrain‑proven architecture is complemented by upgraded heavy‑duty suspension  systems, advanced braking technology, and ballistic run‑flat tires, delivering stability,  traction, and confidence in demanding conditions. 

Powered by a 2.8L inline 4‑cylinder turbo diesel engine, producing 201 hp and 500 Nm  of torque, and paired with a 6‑speed automatic transmission, the Terrier MLX offers  dependable performance and responsive handling. Selectable 4x4 capability, a high  ground clearance, and strong approach and departure angles ensure consistent  mobility across challenging terrain while maintaining operational readiness at all times. 

Available in APC, Tactical Command, and Reconnaissance variants, the Terrier MLX  provides exceptional configuration flexibility. Optional features such as roof hatches  and a 360° movable turret allow organizations to tailor the vehicle to specific mission  profiles, ensuring adaptability to evolving operational requirements.

In Nato a Standardization Agreement (STANAG) defines processes, procedures, terms, and conditions, for a common military or technical procedures or equipments between the member countries of the alliance. Each NATO state ratifies a STANAG and implements it within their own military.

The purpose is to provide common operational and administrative procedures and logistics, so one member nation's military may use the store and support of another member's military.

STANAGs also form the basis for technical interoperability between a wide variety of communication and information systems (CIS) essential for NATO and Allied operations.

The Technology Assessment Program is sponsored by the Office of Development, Testing, and Dissemination of the National Institue of Justice (NIJ), U.S. Department of Justic. The progam responds to the mandate of the Justice System Improvement Act of 1979, which created the NIJ and directed it to encourage research and development to improve the criminal justice system and to disseminate the results of the Federal, State, and local agencies.

The Technology Assessment Program is an applied research effort that determines the technological needs of justice system agencies, sets minimum performance standards for specific devies, tests commercially available equipment against those standards and disseminates the standards and the test results to criminal justice agencies nationwide and internationally.

The purpose of the Association of Testing Centers for Anti-Aggressive Materials and Constructions (VPAM) is to promote the exchange of experience, mutual assistance in technical matters and mutual information.

Among other things, a common opinion will be made possible in central questions of the testing of attack-inhibiting materials (eg. in the development and introduction of new standards and guidelines).

Members of VPAM are independent and committed to neutrality. the testing bodies, which are members of the VPAM, work according to the relevant quality standards EN ISO / IEC 17025 (General requirements for the competence of test laboratories) and EN 45011 (General requirements for bodies which operate product certification systems.
