ARMORING SPECIFICATIONS – ARMOR LEVEL CEN BR6 (.308 Win./NATO 7.62X51MM, AK-47 7.62X39MM and below calibers)

Transparent Armor (Glass):

  • Windshield and Door glass replaced with transparent armor (glass) OEM curved shape
  • All glass to have overlap system around each window with returns. This ensures complete protection from spacing between armor plate, transparent armor and door sill.

Doors/Verticals/Horizontals:

  • All four (4) doors and rear bulkhead behind OEM unarmored tailgate armored using ballistic plate.
  • Door pillars (A, B, C and D) reinforced throughout with ballistic plate
  • Door hinges reinforced from interior of door and frame of vehicle to reduce stress of weight added
  • Heavy-duty door straps added on all doors to allow no over extension
  • Firewall, Battery Box, Roof with blast resistant Armored Floor

Additional Options Added:

  • (2) Operable windows for driver & front passenger, Siren/PA, front white/white strobe lights & run-flat inserts in wheels.

The purpose of the Association of Testing Centers for Anti-Aggressive Materials and Constructions (VPAM) is to promote the exchange of experience, mutual assistance in technical matters and mutual information.

Among other things, a common opinion will be made possible in central questions of the testing of attack-inhibiting materials (eg. in the development and introduction of new standards and guidelines).

Members of VPAM are independent and committed to neutrality. the testing bodies, which are members of the VPAM, work according to the relevant quality standards EN ISO / IEC 17025 (General requirements for the competence of test laboratories) and EN 45011 (General requirements for bodies which operate product certification systems.
