Celebrating a second decade in business, The Armored Group, LLC (TAG) began in 1992 with one singular customer. Our focus was exclusively the Cash-In-Transit (CIT) business – with a simple goal: To regard each client with the highest level of respect by delivering to them the ultimate in safety within every vehicle we built. We also maintained the flexibility that would ensure that each of their needs would be met individually. In this we have found our greatest success.
Within a short period, we established ourselves as the leading builder of Cash-In-Transit vehicles in America. Moving forward with our efforts, our focus expanded into two other distinct markets. The first being Law Enforcement, with SWAT , Police and Tactical vehicle manufacturing. The second was comprised of the high-end passenger vehicles and SUV's for private and corporate clients from around the world. After being awarded a contract to armor the Toyota Land Cruiser for the United Nations (UN) worldwide, we made the leap into the international market with open arms.
Today, The Armored Group, LLC has grown to be one of the largest commercial armored truck suppliers in the world, and continues to set the standard for customization, reliability and protection. With seven (7) manufacturing locations in five (5) countries, we are well positioned to compete with anyone on Price, Quality, and Delivery time. Our world class engineering and design team has the capability and experience in designing and building everything from an armored pick-up truck to a million dollar MRAP to anything in between.
Our global company is specialized in developing and marketing armored vehicles in both the domestic United States and International markets. We have found that the diversity with multiple manufacturing locations with different specialization can ensure that our customers will receive a vehicle best suited to their individual needs. With sales and servicing locations in multiple countries, we are better capable of reacting to the needs of our customers. By sharing knowledge between our plants, sales and servicing locations in these different countries, we can stay abreast of new and changing technology as well as safety and security issues. We are proficient in assessing what works and what does not work and we take pride in our ability to make the rapid changes necessary to fit the needs of our customers.

Each of our production facilities in Canada, Dubai and Deptrit are ISO 9001 certified, and managed by experienced professionals equipped to service customers and fulfill orders around the world.
As a long time member of the Independent Armored Car Operator's Association (IACOA), The Armored Group, LLC takes an aggressive approach in our constant effort to increase safety for our cash movers. We are GSA approved and have built for the U.S. Army, agencies including DOD, DOS and The United Nations, and many multinational companies like General Dynamics, B.A.E., Caterpillar, KBR, Brinks, Loomis, Lockheed Martin, DynCorp, G4S and Exxon Mobile as well as many foreign governments.
