An armored Toyota HiAce is a truly unique cash-in-transit (CIT) vehicle at The Armored Group (TAG), LLC. From its distinctive exterior design to its impeccable handling and performance capabilities, this armored van beats the competition. With four different models to choose from, you can have the customized CIT for your specific needs. Combine this with TAG’s ballistic protection measures and your private security company, bank, or transport agency will have the ideal CIT for a variety of jobs.  With a variety of power plants that include both gas/petrol and diesel engines, to either a manual or automatic transmission, and being available in both Left Hand Drive (LHD) and Right Hand Drive (RHD) this van has the variety, service network, and CIT configurations to be a workhorse in your fleet for many years, no matter where you are located.

Toyota HiAce Chassis Specifications

Each HiAce chassis is different, with longer or shorter lengths and more or less room for passengers/cargo. Learn the basic specifications of each model to discover which is right for you:

  • Long wheelbase (LWB) van. This standard Toyota HiAce van is available in a 3.0L turbo diesel or a 2.7L VVT-i petrol engine. It has cruise control, remote central locking, front air conditioning, power front windows, satellite navigation, vehicle stability control, brake assist, emergency stop signal, hill-start assist control, and more.
  • Long wheelbase crew van. This chassis has a 3.0L turbo diesel engine, rear bench seat, and driver’s side sliding door with window. The van stands at 77.9 inches tall, 184.8 inches long, and 66.7 inches wide. It has a four-speed automatic transmission.
  • Super-long wheelbase van. This chassis comes with a driver’s side sliding door for easy exit and entrance. Choose from the 3.0L turbo diesel or 2.7L VVT-i petrol engine. This van is 89.9 inches tall, 211.8 inches long, and 74 inches wide.
  • Commuter bus. The HiAce SLWB commuter bus has 12- to 14-seat capacity, rear air conditioning, roof-mounted air vents, and a 3.0L turbo diesel or 2.7L VVT-i petrol engine. The bus is 89.9 inches tall, 211.8 inches long, and 74 inches wide.

The progam responds to the mandate of the Justice System Improvement Act of 1979, which created the NIJ and directed it to encourage research and development to improve the criminal justice system and to disseminate the results of the Federal, State, and local agencies.

The purpose of the Association of Testing Centers for Anti-Aggressive Materials and Constructions (VPAM) is to promote the exchange of experience, mutual assistance in technical matters and mutual information.

Among other things, a common opinion will be made possible in central questions of the testing of attack-inhibiting materials (eg. in the development and introduction of new standards and guidelines).

Members of VPAM are independent and committed to neutrality. the testing bodies, which are members of the VPAM, work according to the relevant quality standards EN ISO / IEC 17025 (General requirements for the competence of test laboratories) and EN 45011 (General requirements for bodies which operate product certification systems.
